Nancy Guardado

Dr. Nancy Guardado is the Clinical Program Director of Child Guidance Center’s San Clemente clinic. Dr. Guardado began her journey at Child Guidance Center in 2019 during COVID-19 quarantine as a full-time psychologist. In this role, she also acted as a clinical supervisor for many trainees working towards their doctorate, MFT, and LPCC degree.
Dr. Guardado is a Spanish speaking psychologist working in community mental health for several years. She has treated children, adolescents, and young adults. She is trained in evidence-based treatments such as PCIT, TF-CBT, and Incredible Years. Dr. Guardado holds a bachelor’s in psychology from CSULB, a master’s in psychology from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. Dr. Guardado was born and raised in Los Angeles County, but now lives in Orange County. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children traveling, going to Disneyland, and eating delicious foods.
