Lori Pack
Chief Executive Officer
Lori Pack is a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty-five years of experience at Child Guidance Center (CGC). Lori stepped into the role of CEO in 2009. Previously, she served in various roles, including licensed therapist, supervisor, university liaison and clinical director.
In her role as CEO, Lori oversees 125 full-time and part-time staff, as well as numerous students. Lori has skillfully managed CGC's growth from a $4.3 million dollar agency to close to $16 million. CGC’s budget is comprised of State/County contracts, foundation support, and private donors. Today, CCG is listed as one of the top 100 nonprofit organizations in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal, serving the complex mental health needs of 4,000+ youth and their family members annually.
Lori has a track record of establishing strong professional partnerships and introducing innovative, evidence-based therapeutic programs including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, PEERS groups for teens on the Autism spectrum, Seeking Safety, and the Strong Families, Strong Children program for veteran and military-connected families and children.
Her passion and commitment for helping the Orange County community is demonstrated through her leadership and collaboration; ensuring her team is well-trained and supported and always providing the highest quality of innovative and evidence-based care to children and families in need. Lori also participates in numerous community-wide advocacy, and awareness efforts to decrease stigmatization and increase access to mental health services for children, adolescents, and families.
Lori earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, New York, and her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. She studied Spanish at the Institute for Bilingual Studies in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
